Warrandyte Pottery’s Main Gallery

Warrandyte Pottery’s main gallery is available for hire based on availability as long as it does not distrust trade for main gallery artists. If trade disruption is required, and additional fee will be added to the hours in which trade will be distrusted.

Hire Period  

The Hirer agrees to rent the venue for a minimum of 5 hours on requested date. This time includes setup and pack down.

Rental Fee  

The Hirer agrees to pay an hourly rate of $100, including time to set up and pack down. If Gallery trade is disrupted an additional fee of $50 per hour for any time before 4pm.


Bond for Damages  

The Hirer agrees to pay a bond of $300 for any potential damages incurred during the hire period. This bond will be returned within 7 days after the event, provided no damages occur. If any artwork is damaged on the walls, the Hirer agrees to pay the full amount of the price listed for the damaged artwork.

Payment Terms  

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required upon booking.
The remaining balance is due 24 hours before the hire date, which can be paid by cash or bank transfer.

Responsibilities of the Hirer  

- The Hirer must bring all catering and supplies, including drinking ware.

- The Hirer is responsible for clean-up and must take all rubbish home with them after the event.

- The Hirer must ensure that the venue is returned to its original condition.

- Artwork will remain hung during the event, and only ceramics and main tables are agreed to be removed by Gallery team.

- The Hirer must ensure that the Square checkout and counter remain in place and undisturbed during the hire period.

Cancellation Policy  

In the event of cancellation by the Hirer, the deposit is non-refundable unless a cancellation is made at least 7 days prior to the hire date. Rescheduling is possible at the Gallery’s discretion and availability, but not guaranteed.

Liability  

The Hirer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Venue Owner from any and all claims, damages, or liabilities arising from the Hirer’s use of the venue.

Governing Law  

This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Victoria, Australia.
