Workshops
Warrandyte Pottery offers a evolving program of speciality workshops led by invited artists and our studio team, with a focus on depth, experimentation and contemporary ceramic practice.
From one-day intensives to seasonal projects, these sessions create space to explore new techniques, ideas and ways of working in clay.
Expression and From
Join artist and arts therapist Gabriela Mello for a full-day handbuilding workshop dedicated to exploring self expression through form and mark making in clay.

Over the day you will:
Experiment with handbuilt forms that respond to gesture, intuition, and the body.
Explore surface, texture, and mark making as expressive language.
Work slowly and reflectively, with gentle guidance and demonstrations.
Includes: all clay, tools, slips/oxides/underglazes, and firing of your finished pieces.
Level: Suitable for beginners through to experienced makers.
You’ll leave with several fired pieces and new approaches to using clay as a medium for personal expression.
