Day of Clay
Join us for a full day immersed in clay exploring wheel throwing and hand building to gain some insight into what our term courses entail. Held monthly with an amazing catered lunch at Ember Dining.

10:30am - 3:30pm -
4 hour duration. 1.5hrs of wheel time and 1.5 hours of hand building time with an hour break for lunch at Ember Dining (drinks not included)
You’ll learn the basics of hand building and wheel throwing
Choose 2 pieces to keep and we will glaze and fire your work for you. We will contact you once your piece is fired and ready to be collected.
Please allow 4 weeks for your piece to be ready. You will be emailed when your work is ready for collection. -
Lil (@kokoro_clay) brings a calm, encouraging presence to her lessons, helping beginners slow down, breathe, and discover the quiet joy of working with clay.
With a thoughtful eye for form and gentle, practical guidance, she supports you to build solid skills while finding your own creative voice from the very first class.
Joe (@joethemaker) is a generous, down‑to‑earth potter who loves helping beginners feel at ease while they learn the fundamentals of ceramics.With years of studio experience and a playful teaching style, Joe focuses on building confidence, curiosity, and good clay habits from your very first class.
