Creative Exploration with Jade Piltz
6-week course | All levels welcome

Explore painting, drawing, collage and playful mark making in this 6-week journey with artist Jade Piltz. This course invites you to experiment with mixed media and materials in fresh, unexpected ways, building confidence and curiosity in your creative process.

Each week you will be guided through simple, experiential exercises to develop a rich vocabulary of marks, textures and layers. Working with inks, paints, pencils, papers and found materials, you will combine drawing, collage and gestural mark making to create expressive, multi-layered works on paper and board.

This course is designed for beginners through to experienced makers who want to loosen up, reconnect with play, and discover new approaches to image-making.

  • Tuesdays 6pm- 8:30pm

    Term 2: May 5th - June 9th

    Duration: 6 weeks, 2.5 hours per session 

  • Each term booking is for a regular time slot, once a week for 6 weeks.

    All core materials are provided; you are welcome to bring your own favourite tools, papers or small found objects to incorporate into your work.

  • Jade Piltz is a playful, curious artist who designs creative exploration classes as safe, open‑ended spaces for trying new materials, ideas, and ways of making.

    With gentle prompts, clear structure, and lots of room for your own experiments, she helps you follow your imagination, build confidence, and discover surprising new directions in your creative practice.
